    The study found that the main reason for the low temperature impact strength of PVC is the strong intermolecular force between PVC molecules. Because of strong intermolecular force, PVC products in the impact by external forces, PVC molecules is difficult to produce relative displacement, so that the impact can not be effectively transformed into frictional heat, resulting in PVC material rupture. However, due to the traditional glass transition temperature of CPE is too high, poor dispersion, so its low-temperature impact resistance is not ideal. In addition, the PVC heat stabilizer can not be melted into the CPE, PVC formulations in the CPE easier to break down, so CPE modified PVC products, poor thermal stability.
